7 Useful Tips on Wearing a Scarf

Nowadays, wearing scarves has become a year round fashion and designers around the world keep launching scarf collections with fabulous designs and variety of fabrics to match individual tastes and seasons.

If you are planning to buy one for yourself, here are our seven tips to wear a scarf that will make heads turn!

The Simple Loop: Just girdle the scarf loosely around the neck and tie it in a single loop and arrange it loosely in the front.

The Tied Loop: Tie down the rear ends after you wrap the scarf around the neck, either once or twice. A good idea is to hide the ends by twisting them back in the loop or else keep them hanging loose.

The Pony-trek Knot: Wrap your scarf over the neck by folding it at half-length and then pulling the rear ends through the loop that you have formed and let the fabric drift well on the front side.

Make an “8”: Stride ahead with your pony-trek knot and make an 8 knot. Hold one end and pass it through the loop arranged on the other side of your neck. Create a second loop by winding the first loop 180 degrees and then pass the second end through that.

Scarf Ponytails/Braids: Create a pony-trek knot around your neck and form a braid. This will look similar to your lengthy braided hair that makes heads turn.

Tie a Bow: Keeping both the tail end in the front, loosely tie them as you would tie a usual knot. Then follow the good old “bunny ear” technique and tie a big bow and keep it loose for a casual look.

The Bandana Style: You’ll need a square scarf for this. Let the rear ends to fall down on your back and wrap it over your head. Tie the rear ends under your hair with a tight knot.

So, keep looking great with colourful stylish scarves. We would be glad to hear your suggestions.
