Trench Coats

Monsoons have arrived. The most unpredictable season has its dominance on the climatic conditions in India. Problem arises when there’s a dilemma about choosing between the right clothes and the clothes which look beautiful. The drab rainy climate is not conducive to the mood and most of us often end up feeling low and melancholic. Studies show that the clothes and the colours play an important part in uplifting the mood. What if there’s a way you can protect yourselves from the rain and still manage to look beautiful? Guess what!!!

Trench coats for the rain (Wool Gabardine)

Trench coats made from gabardine wool were initially used in the military, and were sold only to the British officers. They are made of water-proof heavy duty wool, one of the best quality trench coats. These types of trench coats are not economical and are sold only upon request. Vintage wool gabardine trench coats are produced for the masses as they are affordable. Wool is cool.

Trench coats (Cotton Fabric)

In the earlier days, cotton trench coats were made from khaki. The cotton is merged with poplin and twill weaves to make it durable. Cotton is known for not possessing the heat retaining properties of wool but, it can be made water resistant by treating it correctly. Cotton is less expensive than wool and therefore is a wiser choice. Cotton is comfort.

Trench coats (Leather) –

Leather trench coats look dashing. The colours and the material are a winner. No “Fashion Nazi” can ever criticize anyone sporting one of these in the rainy season. Leather can be a little expensive but it’s a must have. The trench coats made from leather are a hit in every country. One must invest in at least one leather trench coat. Leather for the weather.
